{"id":222,"date":"2003-03-23T15:00:00","date_gmt":"2003-03-23T15:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.shiromi.com\/cgi-bin\/blosxom.cgi\/photography\/20030324.html"},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-29T16:00:00","slug":"yeap-canon-again","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/shiromi.com\/blog\/2003\/03\/23\/yeap-canon-again\/","title":{"rendered":"Yeap &#8230; Canon again !"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>   Well &#8230; What can I say &#8230; I got a new digital camera again &#8230;<br \/>   This one is the Canon EOS 10D, very similar to my D30 before, but the main advantages are:   <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a higher resolution (6.2MPixels, almost double the D30&#8217;s) which will allow me to print nice posters at 20&#8243; x 30&#8243;<\/li>\n<li>a very low noise, even at high ISO, excellent for night shots or long exposure shots<\/li>\n<li>a faster autofocus and no shutter lag, which didn&#8217;t really bother me anyway, but it&#8217;s alwyas nicer to have \ud83d\ude42<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I took a couple of pictures, just to play with it but I won&#8217;t show them here, as they have absolutely no interest (unless you want to see my bedroom shot or some chopsticks holders, etc.)<br \/>    On the other hand, while I was about to do some more test shots, Pitou came in the way. I guess she just had to, she is my favorite live model to test out all the digital cameras I&#8217;ve ever had !<br \/>   So here&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shiromi.com\/gallery\/pitou\">one picture of Pitou<\/a>, shot at ISO 400. Still amazed by the lack of noise !<br \/>   Also, the full size pictures shows sharp details I&#8217;ve never seen on my D30 !
