{"id":133,"date":"2004-05-24T14:58:00","date_gmt":"2004-05-24T14:58:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.shiromi.com\/cgi-bin\/blosxom.cgi\/travel\/japan\/200405242358.html"},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-29T16:00:00","slug":"smokers-style","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/shiromi.com\/blog\/2004\/05\/24\/smokers-style\/","title":{"rendered":"Smokers&#8217; style"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.shiromi.com\/gallery\/tokyo\/CRW_5779\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"left\" src=\"http:\/\/www.shiromi.com\/gallery\/albums\/tokyo\/CRW_5779.thumb.jpg\" alt=\"smoking room in akihabara\" \/><\/a>Since about a year ago, it&#8217;s been <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tobacco.org\/news\/119744.html\">forbidden<\/a> to smoke in the street in Akihabara (we have to protect the poor little lungs of the geeks, so the species can survive ;-)).<\/p>\n<p>However, I haven&#8217;t been there for so long that I didn&#8217;t actually notice this law in practise, until last Sunday when I noticed that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.shiromi.com\/gallery\/tokyo\/CRW_5779\">interesting room<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I didn&#8217;t really know what it was first: not a store, not a restaurant, however, the awful smell, the yellow walls and the fog inside the room quickly gave it away: just a smoking room.
