One of my favourite temples in Kyoto, Sanzenin is a little far from the centre of Kyoto but you would be mistaken not to ride the bus for an hour to visit this beautiful temple. From the moss garden and its cute statues, to the peaceful resting area where you can have a cup of green tea and the majestic woods, it’s really a unique experience in Kyoto.
To all (or the few people) who are reading this blog, I’ll be off for a little more than a week, traveling to New Zealand for a well deserved break.
For the past couple of weeks, I’ve been trying to update this blog on a daily basis, sometimes reusing pictures taken years ago (but re-processed with today’s software technology) but hopefully this trip should give me some fresh material and I’ll be posting the pics little by little when I’m back!
