While I was visiting some blogs, I noticed an interesting link to something called blogshares

It’s actually a trading game, where you can buy shares of blogs, which stand for companies, the value of the share changing depending on the number of links pointing to the weblog, to its activity, etc.

I think the principle is quite funny and it may be fun to play, even if you don’t have a weblog yourself, just to see how good you could be in trading 😉

As a competent analyst (arff ;D), I highly recommend shiromi’s diary as a fast growing blog with a high potential ! 😀

Have fun !

Hi – I was cruising around trying to find a site that is using the PHP Advance Guestbook, as I can not seem to get the comment password feature to work – Have you tried/been succesful with the comment password ?Also – I really like the format of your web log, and was interested in how easy/difficult it was for you to setup, and what you’re running it on… I’ve got a RedHat box running Apache & PHP.Tetsudatte Kudasai!Mucho Mahalo!Joe

  2. Hi Joe,I didn’t have any problem using the password feature to leave a comment on the guestbook (although I usually allow everybody to leave comments). However, I have to admit that this guestbook came all-done from my provider (http://www.rcthost.com) and not much was required on my side to make it work…As for my weblog, I suggest you have a look at blosxom (http://www.raelity.org/apps/blosxom/). The setup won’t take more than a few minutes. After that, it’s just a matter of customization, adding the plugins you need and a few lines of CSS for the layout! What took me some time was to convert the old diary I had (a single HTML file) into several text files with the right format.Don’t hesitate to contact me at eddie@shiromi.com if you need a hand on this.Good luck !Eddie.PS: My provider is also using a RedHat server with Apache
