Zion National Park has to be one of my favorite places among all the ones I packed in my busy schedule last July. It’s not only a gorgeous place for photos and I really regret not having been able to slow down to enjoy it more or take photos, it’s also one of the most enjoyable experiences I’ve lived.

Try hiking against the current with water up to your thighs on a hot summer day, admiring the colourful walls or orange stone which pattern is sometimes broken by the luxurious green of the trees inside the canyon and I’m sure you will share my opinion and will soon wish to return to Zion National Park to see more of it!

Thinking back, I’m not sure it was safe to take all my camera gear with me (not to mention the weight of the whole thing!) but I’d do it again without a doubt! Even if the hike is relatively short (just 2-3 hours or 2.5 miles to reach “Wall Street”, the most dramatic section of The Narrows), count a full day to slowly enjoy the magnificent scenery and experience.
